– Research & audit: identify ongoing research initiatives and collaborations focused on advancing the understanding and treatment of heart failure.

Leeanne Macklin, co-ordinator of Heart Failure Hub Scotland, highlighted the importance of the updated website: “This new platform reflects our commitment to providing timely, accurate, and practical resources to support everyone involved in heart failure care. By streamlining access to guidance, education, and research, we aim to foster a national, co-ordinated and collaborative approach to improving outcomes for patients across Scotland.”
Maggie Simpson, Digital, Media & Communications committee chair added: “We’ve worked to create a site that meets the needs of our users whether you’re a clinician looking for the latest guidance, a researcher exploring current projects, or a patient looking for clear, reliable information, and we’re confident it will become a valuable resource for the heart failure community across Scotland. In addition, new content will continue to be added in the coming months, reflecting the outputs from the Hub’s subgroups and ensuring the site remains dynamic and up-to-date.”
Heart Failure Hub Scotland continues to support a network of healthcare professionals, researchers, and patients, to drive forward improvements in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart failure.
